The Law Offices of Jane Frankel Sims welcomes two new employees!

Jane Frankel Sims, Founder and Managing Attorney of Frankel Sims Law is pleased to announce the expansion of her legal team with the addition of Laura Lynn Thomas and Sofia Scharlock. Ms. Thomas and Mrs. Scharlock join Associate Attorney John Robinson, Paralegal Cristina Flores Lujan, and Legal Assistant, Susan Meurer, as legal professionals focusing in the areas of Estate Planning, Estate and Gift Taxation, Estate and Trust Administration and Charitable Giving.

Laura Thomas earned a law degree from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh. During law school, Laura was the President of the Hughes Senate of Delta Theta Phi Law Fraternity International and received the Dean’s Award for Leadership. Ms. Thomas is a candidate for the Maryland Bar in 2011 and will be a candidate for the Pennsylvania Bar in 2012.

Sofia Scharlock brings years of experience to her new paralegal position. She has worked as an estate planning and administration paralegal at a boutique law firm in Rochester, New York, and later served as the Life and Asset Planning department coordinator at a large New York law firm.
